General John Hunt Morgan (June 1, 1825 - September 4, 1864) and his wife, Rebecca. He was a Confederate general and cavalry officer in the American Civil War. He led 2,460 troops in a daring raid, called Morgan's Raid, racing past Union lines into Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio in July 1863. This was the farthest north any uniformed Confederate troops penetrated during the war.

A Note on Image Quality:
The quality of historic images are subject to the capabilities of the original photographer and the limitations of photo technology prevalent during the time-period in which it was taken. Some historic images are very sharp and clear, while others may be blurred, cloudy, or over/under exposed. Many historical images were originally produced on glass plate negatives, giving some a scratched, spotted or crackled appearance if the plate was damaged.

When can I expect my package?
Items are delivered via USPS First Class mail (2-5 business days) with no longer than one (1) day handling time. Your item should not be considered untimely unless it has not been delivered after one full week from your payment date. Please consider weekends and holidays when anticipating your package arrival date as well.
Is your transit packaging secure?
Great care will be taken to ensure that your item arrives in excellent condition. Prints are shipped flat on cardboard and sealed in a water-resistant envelope or, for posters or maps, a crush-resistant tube. We have shipped thousands of prints in this manner and found it to be very reliable. Because of this, we have every reason to believe our packaging methods are superior and can not be responsible for variables outside of our control (postal handlers and carriers, etc.). For maximum protection, shipping insurance is offered and recommended for an additional $2.00.
